Bagwan and Ma Sheela were talking one day.

Bagwan says, ''Ma Sheela, I think we should pray,

And if we have one prayer, we may as well have ten.''

''Why not start our own religion,'' says Ma Sheela,

Amen.



''What first shall we pray for?'' ''Let's pray for a home,

Out in the west where the antelope roam.

And if we have one house, we may as well have ten.''

''Why not start a bloody commune?'' says Ma Sheela,

Amen.



''What next shall we pray for?'' ''Well let's pray for some dupes,

Shallow free thinkers with plenty of loot,

And we'll dress them in purple and say there's no sin.''

''And we'll call it enlightenment,'' says Ma Sheela,

Amen.



''What next shall we pray for?'' ''Let's pray for a car

With a TV and telephone and fully stocked bar.

And we'll only take Rolls Royce and Mercedes Benz.''

''And it'll be tax deductible,'' says Ma Sheela,

Amen.



''What last should we pray for?'' ''Let's pray for a jet.

When the shit hits the fan then it's outward we'll get

And we'll fly me to the sunset and try it again.''

''And I'll meet you in Geneva,'' said Ma Sheela,

Amen.
