This morning there was rain and there was no name

For the feeling in the air. I thought someone would care

That this morning there was rain. Rain, rain, falling rain.



It lies on the ground in stillness, no sound.

It was this way that I learned today.

That this morning there was rain.

Oh yes, falling rain. Rain, rain, falling rain.



And I watched the glow in the sky and ground grow.

As the sun shone then the rain was gone.

Yes this morning there was rain and, it shall come again.

Rain, rain, falling rain.
