Crippling brutal mutilation to enforce male domination

barbaric clitorectomy to enforce patriarchy



Indian women burned alive

Their husbands they cannot survive

Women treated like property

Sold and murdered for their dowry



I know I'm supposed to understand cultural differences

but there's no way to justify these barbaric practices



Foreign culture easy to indict

Does not the same terror rule our streets each night
